The Story
Coaster Challenge started in 2015 by a young man name David. David was Diagnose with Tourettes Syndrome at the age of 9. Tourettes Syndrome is a nervous disorder that has no cure. David suffer with many different ticks, that he struggled with during his childhood. He was afraid to do many activities, one activity was going to theme parks and riding roller coasters.

David was too afraid to ride them. His tourettes would flair up every time his friends would try to make him ride. In the summer of 2015, David decided that it was time to make some changes in his life. Spending a day with his best friend at Disney's California Adventure, David's best friend convince him by Challenging him to ride California Screamin. David accepted the Challenge and showed great courage that day. After riding the roller coaster, He went on it 3 times in a row. He begin to fall in love with roller coasters.
David decided that it was time to try another coaster, he went to Knotts Berry Farm where he went on every coaster from Ghostrider, Sliver Bullet, Pony Express, to Xcelerator. Than David went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and went on every coaster the park had to offer.

Then David started to notice that his fears in general were broken, his doctor even notice that his tourettes had subsided and almost disappear. David than begin to think about why our society has been the way it has been. He notice how fear dictates the lives of others. Fear keeps people from following their dreams and taking chances. David started Coaster Challenge because he wants people to have the same opportunity to have the courage to face their fears, by riding roller coasters.

Coaster Challenge mission is simple, to help people of all ages conquer their fears by riding roller coasters.  Do you have what it takes to accept the Coaster Challenge? Join the movement and help support David in his mission to help people live a fear free life.
